Rock and Roll has lost a great one. Legendary musician Levon Helm lost his long  battle with cancer. Levon and Ira have been good friends since the 80′s. For those of you who are not familiar, Levon was best known as member of “The Band” singing such timeless songs like  The Weight”, Up On Cripple Creek”, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down”, “Ophelia”,”Life Is A Carnival”, “Rag Mama Rag”,and many many others.

I am proud and lucky to have known Levon for so long .He has been one of the most important and influential people in my life.Levon always reffered to me as his baby brother.

Although I am grieving his loss now, I celebrate his amazing talent and incredible career. He was one of the kindest people I have known and I will always love him.
